Spring
blurred past us in a flurry of gigs, the long awaited release of ‘GET THE
REVOLUTION OUT OF YOUR HEAD,’ tour planning, and finally: the TOUR.
With the help of our lovely webmistress, we’ve whipped up a special
tour diary complete with
all the mundane details and photos for your entertainment/boredom.
For those of you with less of an attention span, I’m just gonna cut to the
chase and roll out a list of well deserved thanks instead of blathering on
about our most recent exploits:
Thanks to The Cops and
The Dirty Birds for kicking ass at our CD release
party, and to the staff at the Sunset who were super cool/tolerant.
Thanks to all our new fans and friends on ‘My Space’. You can check us
out at:
myspace.com/earaches
Thanks to Larry, The Valley,
The Resistoleros,
Hammerlock, and everyone else
who helped us along the way on tour. Steel Cage bands rule!
Thank you Pronto Café!
Thanks to Ray for not only having us play at his birthday party, but getting
up and playing the entire set with us! Also to thank from that
night are Ape City R&B, HEAD, and the most badass new band in the jet city:
FOUR EASY PIECES.
A huge thank you to all the following stations for airplay and continued
support:
WMBR Cambridge, MA,
WFMU Hoboken, NJ,
WUSB Stonybrook,
NY, WPRB Princeton
, NJ, KDHX
St. Louis, MO, KDVS
Davis, CA,
RRR.org.au Brunswick,
Australia, and finally
KEXP
90.3 FM Seattle, WA where we hit #6 on the Northwest charts and have been
getting a lot of airplay. We’ve never been happier to be number 6 at
anything in our lives. These stations can all be heard online, and are
all cool in their own way, so be sure to check ‘em out and tell ‘em the
Earaches sent you while you’re at it.
Not least of all, thanks to you, humble reader. Thanks for taking an
interest, thanks for keeping rock and roll alive, thanks for living free,
and thanks for reading this crock of shit. There’s more to life
than rock and roll, but not much.
Until next time, Live Free – Fizzy Lipton, Minister of Propaganda
